Gagan Sekhon

Education and Experience

Gagan was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario and obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University in 2008. He went on to study law at the University of Manchester and received his LLB (Hons) in 2011.

Upon returning to Ontario, Gagan articled with a boutique personal injury law firm, gaining exposure and experience in civil litigation. Gagan has been practicing family law almost exclusively since his call to the Bar in 2013. Gagan has enjoyed helping his clients navigate the difficult landscape of separation and divorce and has a passion for providing his clients with access to justice in what is often the most stressful time in their lives.

Goals

Gagan advocates for his clients with heart, understanding each client’s personal and family dynamic and resulting expectations are different. While Gagan has significant litigation experience, he understands the importance of exploring out of court negotiation and settlement for his clients and makes a sincere effort to provide them with efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Personal Life

In his free time, Gagan enjoys spending time with his family, including numerous outdoor activities with his daughter and two sons. Gagan has a passion for basketball, swimming, golfing and travelling.
